Tykesha, age 6

One of the children we've raised funds for is Tykesha "Ke-Ke" Townsend, the daughter of Lonnie and Gail Townsend of Birmingham, AL. Within the same week that Tykesha's father, Lonnie Townsend had his leg amputated from chronic diabetes, her family was devastated with the news that what was thought to be a sprained ankle for Tykesha was in fact Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (a muscle cancer). It's a very aggressive cancer that mostly occurs in children.

**UPDATE: Warren World is sad to announce that Tykesha passed in April 2008 after her cancer spread to her brain. To Ke-Ke's friends and family, we express our deepest sympathies.
